Just Accept Your Going To Die

In The Summer Of 2005 I Nearly Died And Almost Took 5 People Down With Me. That Summer Had Changed My Life. Sometimes I Forget And I Act Like A Fool And Take Everything For Granted. It Wasn't Until I Heard This Song Today Did It Bring Back A Tsunami Wave Of Emotions Back.

I Had Graduated High School,I Was Crowned The Class Flirt And All Of My Best Friends Had Black Listed Me Due To Have A Secret Affair With One Of Their Younger Brothers. I Became Friends With Someone Else Also Black Listed. We Smoked All Day And Partied All Night.

Another Girlfriend Of Mine Had Made Me A MixTape....An Actual Tape. This MixTape Was All I'd Listen To. I Don't Even Remember Any Of The Songs Released That Summer. After A Blur Of A Month July Was About To End With The Annual Booze Feast At Rambo's Cabin In The Woods Of Tuckahoe. Cops Raided The Party And We All Scrambled Into My Car And Bounced.

There Was This Road We'd Go Joy Riding On. We Called It The Rollercoaster. I Was Perfectly Sober. I Had Been Up For Days And Was Beyond Exhausted So I Didn't Drink At The Party.

At The End Of The Rollercoaster Was A Place We Called The Grand Canyon. There Were Deer There And It Feel Like We Were On Safari. Chasing The Deer As If We Were A Lioness Chasing Gazelles. After That We Left. Listening To My Mixtape The Whole Time....Which Happens To Have A Gap Of Dead Air When The Tape Switches Over From Side A To Side B. But The Song Just Stops Short In The Middle...Well Right When That Happened I Swurved To Avoid Hitting A Deer Down The Rollercoaster.....We Flipped. My Gold '94 Oldsmobile Flipped. Some How We Landed Back On All 4 Tires..... But It Was To This Song.....As We Flipped The Dead Air Popped Up. All The People In The Car Including Myself Were Quiet. No One Screamed. When I Talk To Any Of The People From That Accident They All Say The Same Thing...."I Just Accepted That I Was Going To Die".....

So Here's The Song That Just Brought Back All These Emotions

Don't Joy Ride At Night...
